Capes is the superhero game that came out of the Forge (remember that?) and it does have lot of interesting design such as the ability to fast create a hero by intersecting pre-genned power personality archetypes which is pretty nifty. It's also GM-less which is great for those groups who love collaborative gaming.

It's also just really hard to read and difficult to follow, it's like the ideas factory exploded and there is a bunch of concepts around Debt, Powers, Story Tokens and dice rolls that individually might be great but collectively come out as too fiddly.

From a game design point of a view its a bit of a shame to lose this one as I think there might be interesting stuff buried in it but I haven't excavated it to date and I suspect that things have just moved on in general.
